Ignition Repair & Key Extraction
Ignition Repair & Key Extraction in Akron
Broken key stuck in the ignition or a cylinder that's worn out, removed, repaired, and rekeyed on the spot.
A key that snaps off in the ignition or a cylinder that's finally given out after years of use isn't something you can just push through. I pull the broken piece, inspect the cylinder, and either repair it or replace it, then rekey it so your existing key works.
This is also the fix if you can pull the ignition cylinder out yourself and bring it in, I can work on it separately and have it ready to reinstall without you having to leave the vehicle sitting.
What's included
- Broken key removal from ignition
- Ignition cylinder repair and replacement
- Ignition rekeyed to match your key
- Worn cylinder diagnosis
- Steering column lock repair
- Same-visit turnaround

There aren't many small time businesses like this one left. They absolutely know their stuff. My Toyota dealer wanted well over $500 to create a duplicate fob for my vehicle. These guys did it for under $200 and had the work done in less than 20 minutes. I found them to be highly professional and extremely knowledgeable.
Had lost my Motorcycle Keys in Alabama and was able to get 3 replacements. I took off the Ignition Cylinder and brought it in, an hour later I was on my way and ready to reinstall.
I just want to give a quick shout out to the people working today at Abracadabra on East Exchange. I went in fully expecting to have to pony up the money for a new FOB for my Dodge. I had been quoted over a hundred and was not excited to have to spend that much money.
