I come out quickly to assess the property, find the source of the water and the full extent of the damage, then explain exactly what needs to happen to dry it out properly.
Do you give a fixed quote before starting work?
Yes. After the initial assessment I explain the drying plan and cost clearly before any equipment goes in, so there are no surprises.
Are you insured?
Yes, I'm fully insured, and I can provide a written assessment that's useful if you're dealing with an insurance claim.
How long does drying out a property take?
It depends on how much moisture has got in, but most jobs take a few days of monitored drying with dehumidifiers before everything is confirmed properly dry.
How do you know you've found the real problem?
I don't just dry visible wet patches. I check under floors, behind walls and in hidden areas to make sure the moisture source is fully identified and dealt with, not just masked.
