Water Damage Services in Doraville
From standing water in a basement to a damp smell that won't go away, here's how I find the cause, remove the water and dry the property properly so it stays fixed.
Water Extraction in Doraville
Standing water pumped and vacuumed out of basements, floors and crawl spaces before it soaks any further into the structure.
What's included
- Submersible pumps for standing water
- Truck-mount extraction on carpet and pad
- Crawl space and basement access
- Contaminated water handled safely
- Furniture and contents moved clear
- Extraction confirmed with moisture readings
The first job on any call is getting the water out. I bring pumps for standing water and truck-mount extraction equipment for carpets, pads and hard flooring, and work through the property methodically so nothing gets missed under furniture or in corners.
Once the bulk of the water is gone, I check moisture levels in the floor, walls and any framing that's been sitting wet, so I know exactly what still needs drying before the next stage starts.
Structural Drying in Doraville
Industrial dehumidifiers and air movers set up on the day to dry walls, floors and framing all the way through, not just the visible surface.
What's included
- Commercial dehumidifiers and air movers
- Drying equipment left running as needed
- Daily moisture checks while drying
- Framing, subfloor and drywall covered
- Equipment collected once the property tests dry
- Progress explained at each visit
Water that looks gone on the surface can still be sitting inside walls, subfloor and framing. I set up dehumidifiers and air movers matched to the size of the affected area, and leave them running for as long as the property actually needs, not a fixed number of days.
I come back to check moisture readings rather than guessing when it's dry, and only take the equipment away once the walls and floors test properly dry throughout.
Basement Flood Recovery in Doraville
From first call to a fully dried, restored basement, I handle every step and explain what I'm doing as I go.
Damp & Moisture Assessment in Doraville
I diagnose the source of the moisture, not just treat the symptoms, so the problem doesn't come back.
Odor & Mold Prevention in Doraville
Thorough drying and moisture control to stop the musty smells and mold growth that follow a water event.
Prevention Advice in Doraville
Practical guidance on stopping the same water or damp issue happening again, given as part of every job, not as an extra.
What's included
- Cause of the original problem explained
- Advice on drainage, ventilation or sealing
- Warning signs to watch for going forward
- Guidance specific to the property
- Included with every job, no extra call needed
Getting a property dry is only half the job if the same issue is likely to happen again. Once I know what caused the water or damp in the first place, I explain what's driving it, whether that's drainage, a ventilation gap or a slow leak, and what can be done about it.
This isn't a separate service you have to ask for. It's part of the conversation on every job, so you leave knowing what to watch for and how to stop it recurring.
How It Works
Three steps, no pressure
1
Call or message
Tell me what's happened, water in a basement, a damp smell, a leak that's been going on a while. I'll ask enough to know how quickly I need to get out there.
2
Free survey
I come out, check the property properly with moisture meters, and give you a fixed quote based on what's actually going on, not a guess over the phone.
3
The work
Water out, equipment set up, and the property dried through properly. I explain each step as I go and check it's actually dry before I leave.
