Chimney Inspections
Chimney Inspections in Colchester
A close look up the flue for blockages, damage or wear before they turn into a bigger job.
Alongside a sweep, or on its own, we'll take a proper look at the condition of the flue and liner, checking for cracks, gaps or wear that could let smoke or fumes escape where they shouldn't. We're also checking connections at the stove or fireplace end are sound.
If we find something that needs sorting, we'll explain what it is and why it matters in plain terms, not just a report full of jargon. Where it's a straightforward fix we'll say so; where it needs a specialist, we'll tell you that too.
What's included
- Visual check of flue and liner
- Looking for cracks or gaps
- Checking for blockages or nesting
- Checking stove or fire connections
- Plain explanation of what we find
