Wood Burner Servicing
Wood Burner Servicing in Colchester
Checking the burner is running efficiently and talking you through keeping it that way.
Beyond the sweep, we check the wood burner itself is set up to run efficiently, looking at door seals and rope, air controls, and how well it's drawing overall. A poorly sealed door or the wrong burning technique can mean more smoke and less heat for the same amount of wood.
We'll talk you through what we find and what, if anything, would make a difference, whether that's a seal that needs replacing, adjusting how you're loading the burner, or just burning better-seasoned wood.
What's included
- Flue and stove cleaned
- Door seals and rope checked
- Air controls checked
- Efficiency talked through with you
- Advice on fuel and burning technique
