Stove & Fireplace Cleaning
Stove & Fireplace Cleaning in Colchester
Glass, firebox and surrounds cleaned up so the stove or fireplace looks as good as it runs.
Once the flue itself is swept, we turn to the stove or fireplace, clearing out ash and debris from the firebox, cleaning the glass so you can actually see the fire, and checking the baffle plate is sitting where it should. Surrounds get wiped down so nothing's left dusty or sooty.
It's a tidy-up job as much as anything, but it also gives us a chance to spot any wear on stove rope seals or fittings while we're in there, which we'll mention if it's worth keeping an eye on.
What's included
- Stove glass cleaned
- Firebox and baffle plate cleaned
- Ash and debris removed
- Surrounds wiped down
- Hearth left clean and tidy

An excellent service! Good appointment booking system and was kept fully informed on the ETA. Chimney flue and wood burner working much better after a thorough clean. Mike is a very pleasant, helpful chap that talked me through the process of getting the Wood burner working efficiently. I will definitely use Dedham Vale Chimney Sweeps Ltd again. Thanks Mike
