Gas Fireplace Installation in Chigwell
Gas fireplace installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer, appliance fitted, flued and connected safely with all required certification issued.
Gas fireplace installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, it is a legal requirement, not a preference. Being registered means I can certify the work correctly, which matters for your building regulations compliance and for your home insurance. I install inset gas fires, freestanding gas stoves and gas fireplace suites, handling the appliance connection, the flue arrangement and the gas supply pipework.
The type of flue required depends on the appliance: some use the existing chimney with a liner, others use a balanced flue that vents through an external wall without needing a chimney at all. I'll confirm which applies during the site visit and quote accordingly. The finished installation is tested before I leave and a Gas Safe certificate is issued, you'll have the paperwork you need for your records.

Rafal and his wife did a beautiful job and offered really great advice. They arrived on time, were neat and tidy, no surprise costs. They provided all the bits and bobs (apart from stove) and were also helped us get our hearth stone so everything was very easy. The stove and alcove look gorgeous, better than we had hoped.
What a great experience! We wanted to change our old log burner to a new efficient burner. We had used Rafel for a repair a couple of years ago so I asked him for a quote for installation and I would get the Burner and Hearth. He then recommended a supplier that he uses and the choice and value were great. The day of installation they arrived on time and started work. They covered all the area they were working and within about 3 hours they had removed the old burner, installed the liner, hearth and the new burner. They left the whole area spotless. We are absolutely thrilled with our burner and have no hesitation in recommending Rafel.
Must say, superb service! Rafa came to assess our Log burner, addressed the problems, cleaned the burner and installed the flue correctly,. Professional and thorough. Would highly recommend
