Twin wall flue systems are the solution when there is no existing chimney, in a room extension, an outbuilding or a property built without one. The system is made up of insulated double-skin steel sections that maintain flue gas temperature over the full height, which keeps the draw consistent and prevents condensation in the flue. Getting the configuration right, the height, the number of bends and the terminal position, matters for how well the stove performs.
I design the system around the stove's output and the room layout, sourcing the right diameter and length of components before the installation day. Whether the route runs internally through upper floors and the roof or externally up an outside wall, all penetrations are properly fire-stopped and sealed. The finished system is clean, secure and meets the manufacturer's installation requirements that keep the guarantee valid.

Rafal and his wife did a beautiful job and offered really great advice. They arrived on time, were neat and tidy, no surprise costs. They provided all the bits and bobs (apart from stove) and were also helped us get our hearth stone so everything was very easy. The stove and alcove look gorgeous, better than we had hoped.
What a great experience! We wanted to change our old log burner to a new efficient burner. We had used Rafel for a repair a couple of years ago so I asked him for a quote for installation and I would get the Burner and Hearth. He then recommended a supplier that he uses and the choice and value were great. The day of installation they arrived on time and started work. They covered all the area they were working and within about 3 hours they had removed the old burner, installed the liner, hearth and the new burner. They left the whole area spotless. We are absolutely thrilled with our burner and have no hesitation in recommending Rafel.
