Multifuel Stoves
Multifuel Stove Installation in Chigwell
Multifuel stove installation covering all flue work, hearth preparation and building work, with advice on the right model and output for your room size.
Multifuel stoves use a raised grate and an ash pan, they're built differently from wood-only burners, and the flue sizing has to match the appliance's rated output. I'll advise on what output your room actually needs before anything is ordered, and can point you to suppliers with good choice at fair prices if you haven't already chosen a model. The installation process is the same thorough job as any stove fit: site visit, fixed written quote, clean working day, certificated on completion.
If you're switching fuel types from an existing installation, say, moving from a gas fire to a solid fuel stove, there's often additional work involved in lining or relining the flue to suit the new appliance. I'll identify what's needed during the survey so there are no surprises once work starts. A multifuel stove gives you flexibility over what you burn, and a properly sized and lined installation makes sure it performs as it should across all of them.

Rafal and his wife did a beautiful job and offered really great advice. They arrived on time, were neat and tidy, no surprise costs. They provided all the bits and bobs (apart from stove) and were also helped us get our hearth stone so everything was very easy. The stove and alcove look gorgeous, better than we had hoped.
What a great experience! We wanted to change our old log burner to a new efficient burner. We had used Rafel for a repair a couple of years ago so I asked him for a quote for installation and I would get the Burner and Hearth. He then recommended a supplier that he uses and the choice and value were great. The day of installation they arrived on time and started work. They covered all the area they were working and within about 3 hours they had removed the old burner, installed the liner, hearth and the new burner. They left the whole area spotless. We are absolutely thrilled with our burner and have no hesitation in recommending Rafel.
Must say, superb service! Rafa came to assess our Log burner, addressed the problems, cleaned the burner and installed the flue correctly,. Professional and thorough. Would highly recommend
