Wood Burning Stoves
Wood Burning Stove Installation in Chigwell
Supply and installation of wood burning stoves, including hearth preparation, flue lining and all building work done to current Part J standards.
A wood burning stove installation is more than dropping a unit into a fireplace. The flue liner has to be the right diameter for the stove's output, the hearth has to meet the minimum constructional dimensions, and the register plate has to seal the void above correctly. I take care of all of it, the building work, the liner, the connection and the final tidy, so you get a single finished job rather than a stove sat waiting on a builder.
Before anything is ordered I visit the site, check the existing chimney, measure the opening and confirm what hearth work is needed. You'll get a written fixed price covering everything required. On the day I protect the floors and furniture, work cleanly and leave nothing behind. Once it's lit and drawing correctly, I'll walk you through running it in properly and what fuel to use while the sealant cures.

Rafal and his wife did a beautiful job and offered really great advice. They arrived on time, were neat and tidy, no surprise costs. They provided all the bits and bobs (apart from stove) and were also helped us get our hearth stone so everything was very easy. The stove and alcove look gorgeous, better than we had hoped.
What a great experience! We wanted to change our old log burner to a new efficient burner. We had used Rafel for a repair a couple of years ago so I asked him for a quote for installation and I would get the Burner and Hearth. He then recommended a supplier that he uses and the choice and value were great. The day of installation they arrived on time and started work. They covered all the area they were working and within about 3 hours they had removed the old burner, installed the liner, hearth and the new burner. They left the whole area spotless. We are absolutely thrilled with our burner and have no hesitation in recommending Rafel.
Must say, superb service! Rafa came to assess our Log burner, addressed the problems, cleaned the burner and installed the flue correctly,. Professional and thorough. Would highly recommend
